Croatian Radiotelevision is Croatia’s public service media company and a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Radio Zagreb was founded in 1926, while Television Zagreb began its broadcasting in 1956. On 29 June 1990, Radio Television Zagreb was renamed to Croatian Radiotelevision. Today, HRT broadcasts on 3 national radio channels, 8 regional radio channels, 4 TV channels, 2 international channels, and also provides a multimedia platform HRTi for online audiences across the world. Furthermore, HRT has their own Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra, Tamburitza Orchestra and Choir.
