The police is the central service of the Ministry of the Interior, which carries out tasks specified by law and other regulations, and provides citizens with the protection of their fundamental constitutional rights and freedoms and the protection of other values protected by the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia. In order to increase road traffic safety, it carries out a series of preventive and repressive activities and cooperates with other competent ministries and entities that also take care of road safety.
