Youngest cyclists showcased strength and enthusiasm at the sixth stage of the Kids CRO Race
Sveta Nedelja, October 4, 2025 – The sixth stage of the Kids CRO Race in Sveta Nedelja gathered 15 children who, with plenty of energy and sporting spirit, completed their race. For a short while, the city streets turned into a cycling stage, while the crowd cheered and applauded every ride.
This event, held alongside the main CRO Race, once again demonstrated the importance of encouraging children to be active and to socialize through sport. The cheerful participants, from the youngest to the more experienced, bravely conquered the virtual course and proved that cycling is not reserved only for professionals.
The Mountain Biking Club Krpelj took part in the event by setting up skill courses, giving children T-shirts, and opening its doors to new members. This allowed children and parents to experience mountain biking firsthand and discover the joy, community, and challenges the sport offers.
First place in this year’s Kids CRO Race in Sveta Nedelja went to Domagoj Pribil in the 9–10 age category, Sven Borna Sarkotić in the 11–12 age category, and Matej Žokvić out of competition. Second place was won by Noa Kolar (9–10), Roko Mlinarić (11–12), and Noa Gjureković (out of competition). Third place went to Antonio Kos (9–10), Filip Vuković (11–12), and Mihael Pribil (out of competition).
The grand finale of the Kids CRO Race will take place on October 5 in Zagreb, bringing together children from all the host cities of this year’s event. During the final ride, winners will be announced in several categories, and recognition will go to those who have shown the most skill, perseverance, and sportsmanship throughout the races. The Zagreb finale will be a festive conclusion to this year’s edition and another opportunity for the young cyclists to shine in front of the audience.

This year’s edition of the CRO Race is taking place from September 30 to October 5, covering nearly 1,000 kilometers across Croatia. The race features 20 teams from all three categories of the International Cycling Union (UCI) – UCI WorldTeams, UCI ProTeams, and UCI Continental Teams. Viewers can follow the race live on HRT and Eurosport, with broadcasts reaching nearly 200 countries worldwide. Alongside promoting cycling, the CRO Race also positions Croatia as an attractive tourist destination, showcasing images of Croatia’s rich cultural and natural heritage to audiences across the globe.
