„Vinistra“ the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Istria, based in Poreč, has been active since 1994 with the basic goal of improving and developing viticulture and winemaking in Istria. All members of the Association are based in Istria or Primorsko-goranska county. They are engaged in the production of grapes, wine and grape products, planting material, selection, research and other aspects of viticulture and winemaking. Today, the Association has over 130 members, including multi-award winning winemakers and distillers, as well as producers who have just started their production.
