Kids CRO Race: Cycling spectacle for the youngest!
For the seventh consecutive year, Kids CRO Race gives young cyclists the opportunity to experience the thrill of competition and become part of a major sporting story that connects Croatia with the world. At a time when children are spending more and more time in front of screens, the project highlights the importance of physical activity, socialising and a healthy lifestyle, while teaching young participants that effort, perseverance and fair play always pay off.
This unique competition will take place in seven cities across Croatia: Split, Seget, Novalja, Labin, Rijeka, Sveta Nedelja and Zagreb. The first Kids CRO Race event will be held at the start location of Stage 1 of the professional CRO Race, while the remaining events will take place at the finish locations of each subsequent stage.
How does the race work?
Young riders compete on six connected smart trainers, linked to a large TV screen that displays a simulation of a real cycling race. This allows children to experience different terrains and challenges similar to those faced by professional cyclists.
The programme at each location lasts 120 minutes, with competitors divided into two age categories, with separate competitions for girls and boys:

1–12 years
Grand Finale in Zagreb
Winners will be announced at every location and rewarded with special Kraš and A2U prize packages. In addition, the winners of all categories will receive an invitation for themselves and their parents to attend the Grand finale in Zagreb. In Zagreb, the most successful young riders in the overall standings will step onto the main podium alongside the winner of the professional CRO Race.

With the support of our long-standing partners Kraš, TrainingPeaks and Elite, together with our new partner A2U, and with the enthusiastic support of parents and teachers, Kids CRO Race has become much more than a competition – it is a celebration of sport, friendship and the joy of cycling.
