During CRO Race, which is being held from 22 to 27 September, temporary traffic regulations will be in place on certain sections of public roads used by the race. Traffic restrictions on these sections of road will be enforced by Ministry of Interior personnel and race representatives. Although the cycling race is being held under normal traffic conditions with temporary traffic stoppages immediately before the race passes, some cyclists may lag behind the race, which means drivers must exercise additional caution and look out for cyclists in traffic.
As the race route will be run mainly on state roads and main traffic corridors, we must note that all traffic on these sections of road in the direction of the race will be slow from the moment the race begins, in accordance with the speed of the cyclists (40-50 km/h). As the rout will be secured by Ministry of Interior personnel, it will neither be possible to overtake nor to allow traffic to pass, meaning it is highly likely that bus lines that use these roads will also be delayed.
We invite all motorists travelling along the route of the cycling race to heed the instructions and orders of police and race officials, and to slow down and stop their cars until cyclists pass.
