The young cyclists gave their all at the penultimate stage of the race, showing combativeness, perseverance, and true competitive spirit at another edition of Kids CRO Race.
SVETA NEDELJA, 26 September 2026 – Today, Sveta Nedelja hosted the penultimate stage of Kids CRO Race, a virtual children’s cycling race designed for the youngest generations of cyclists. A total of 45 competitors took part in this stage, and for many of them it was their first encounter with a competition format resembling professional cycling races. Although the race was held on turbo trainers, the young competitors gave their all, striving to get the most out of every turn of the pedals and rack up the best possible result.
Children of various levels of experience took part in the competition – from those who already ride and train regularly, to those for whom Kids CRO Race was one of their first serious sporting challenges. Kids CRO Race gave them the chance to experience the conditions faced by real professionals at races.
First place in this year’s Kids CRO Race in Sveta Nedelja in the 9-10-year-old category went to Melissa Posavac and Ljuban Bačan, while the winners in the 11-12-year-old category were Dorotea Lautar and Antonio Kos. Second place in the 9-10-year-old category went to Lucija Blagojević and Leonardo Vlahović, while second place in the 11-12-year-old category went to Sofia Jakšić and Noa Kolar. Third place in the 9-10-year-old category went to Lana Mišak and Juraj Župančić, while third place in the 11-12-year-old category went to Lucija Fresl and Petar Blagojević.
The next Kids CRO Race stage will be held on 27 September in Zagreb, where the overall winners will be announced at the final awards ceremony.
