The tenth edition of the CRO Race, taking place from September 30 to October 5, 2025, will once again be held over six stages. The starts and finishes of each stage will be set in well-known locations — picturesque towns and regions eagerly awaiting both domestic and international competitors and visitors.
Thanks to its nearly 1000-kilometer-long route connecting the inland to the coast, the most beautiful image of Croatia will once again be shared with the world — highlighting the country’s diversity and the richness of its cultural heritage. The race is not only a sporting event, but also plays a significant role in promoting Croatia as an attractive (cycling) tourist destination that appeals to professionals, enthusiasts, recreational riders, and two-wheeled explorers.
The importance of the race in positioning Croatia’s tourism and economy — as well as in promoting its cultural-historical heritage and natural beauty — has once again been recognized by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Croatian Tourist Board, the City of Zagreb, and HEP, all of whom have supported the project from the beginning. Also supporting the event are the Ministry of the Interior, the Directorate of Police, the Croatian Olympic Committee, the Croatian Cycling Federation, and many other partners and sponsors.
The sporting aspect of the race will once again be of the highest standard, with several of the world’s top UCI WorldTeams expected to participate. Well-known stars such as Mark Cavendish, Vincenzo Nibali, and Jonas Vingegaard have taken part in previous editions, showcasing their strength and experience. This year promises no less excitement, as the participation of the world’s best cyclists is a perfect recipe for a dynamic race and a thrilling battle for victory.
The focus on sporting excellence and the diversity of the routes make the race captivating not only for the competitors but also for the spectators, who will have the chance to see the riders up close — adding to the vibrant and energetic atmosphere of the CRO Race.
As part of the sixth consecutive Kids CRO Race, the youngest visitors will have the chance to test their cycling skills in a virtual race using simulators.
