More than ten years ago, the CRO Race cycling event was just an idea shared by a handful of enthusiasts who dreamed of dramatic shots of elite cycling teams competing on the roads across Croatia. Ten years later, those same enthusiasts are living their dream.
Today, the international cycling race CRO Race is a well-established sporting event that brings together top professional cyclists and Croatia’s stunning landscapes. Viewers in more than 190 countries around the world have the opportunity to enjoy unique footage where the fighting spirit of world-class athletes intertwines with the most beautiful scenery from across Croatia.
A great deal of hard work, effort, and sacrifice was required for the CRO Race to be included in the Union Cycliste Internationale ProSeries category, alongside world-famous races such as the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, and Vuelta a Espana. That is why the CRO Race is not just “another” cycling race, but a story of success, dedication, and perseverance. The short documentary film Kilometers of Dreams tells the story of a dream that, through hard work and sacrifice, grew into a unique race on the map of the world’s most renowned cycling events.
