Sixty young cyclists demonstrated skills and love for sport, with support from local clubs
Rijeka, October 2, 2025 – The fourth stage of the Kids CRO Race in Rijeka gathered 60 children today, who showcased their cycling skills in a fun race. This popular children’s event is held in parallel with the major international CRO Race.
Members of the Rijeka Cycling Club and the Grobnik Cycling Club supported the young riders and encouraged them to continue building their passion for sport. Through demonstration rides, they presented the dynamics of cycling, introduced the children to the skills acquired through regular training, and emphasized the importance of perseverance and team spirit. The children were able to experience firsthand what it means to be part of the cycling community and the opportunities this sport can bring – from friendships and a healthy lifestyle to developing sporting ambitions.
First place in this year’s Kids CRO Race in Rijeka went to Sven Kovačević and Sara Bobuš in the 9–10 age category, and Mauro Maleš and Nicole Nižić in the 11–12 age category.
