During the CRO Race, which takes place from September 30 to October 5, temporary traffic regulations will be in effect on the roads along the race route. Traffic restrictions on these sections of public roads will be enforced in the presence of Ministry of the Interior (MUP) officers and event organizers.
Although the cycling race is held under normal traffic conditions with occasional traffic stops immediately before the arrival and passage of cyclists, participants may fall behind, so increased caution and attention to cyclists on the road are necessary.
Since most of the race routes are on state roads and main traffic routes, please note that all traffic along these sections, in the direction of the cyclists, will be slowed down from the very start, in line with the cyclists’ pace (approximately 40–50 km/h). As the route will be secured by MUP representatives, overtaking and letting traffic through will not be possible, which means there is a strong possibility of delays for bus lines operating along these sections.
We call on all motor vehicle drivers who find themselves along the race route to follow the instructions and orders of the police and event staff, slowing down or stopping their vehicles until the cyclists pass.
