Young cyclists showed true competitive spirit at the second location of this year’s race.
Seget Municipality, 22 September 2026 – Seget Municipality has joined the list of hosts of Kids CRO Race, a virtual cycling race for kids that follows the popular international CRO Race. A group of 58 young cyclists competed on turbo trainers, enjoying the chance to experience the real conditions professional cyclists experience during their races.
Dr. Nikola Lozovina Street was filled with cheers from supporting parents, friends, and locals who came out to support these young competitors. For most of the kids participating, this was their first time competing on a turbo trainer, and with the loud cheering, the atmosphere quickly grew into a real, small celebration of sport, perseverance, and healthy habits.
Seget Municipality today became part of a commendable project enabling children to adopt sporting values, perseverance, and team spirit through fun. Kids CRO Race teaches children about the importance of an active lifestyle and encourages healthy habits from childhood.
First place at the Kids CRO Race in Seget Municipality in the 9–10-year-old category was taken by Ela Batinić and Mihael Ćudina, and by Vid Sorić in the 11–12-year-old category. Second place in the 9–10-year-old category was taken by Ivona Zrnić and Kaja Grga, and by Noah Ismet Hans Kriegel in the 11–12-year-old category. Mia Latinčić and Svetin Milat took third place in the 9–10-year-old category.
The next Kids CRO Race will be held on 23 September in Novalja, and the overall winners will be announced on 27 September in Zagreb at the final awards ceremony.
