Novalja, 23 September 2026 – The second stage of Kids CRO Race brought together a total of 51 competitors from Novalja and the surrounding area. Following the example of the pro riders taking part in the international CRO Race, these young cyclists tried their hand at a competition on turbo trainers.
This is a familiar event to kids from Novalja and the surrounding area, who gladly come back year after year to try and beat last year’s results. The virtual race on turbo trainers gives them the opportunity to once again experience the atmosphere of a real sporting competition.
First place in this year’s race in Novalja in the 9-10-year-old category went to Tia Šuljić and Niko Ilkić, while Naomi Datković i Luka Furlić were best in the 11-12-year-old category. Second place in the 9-10-year-old category went to Rita Vidas and Tin Čemeljić, with Nola Šestan and Luka Plišo taking second in the 11-12-year-old category.Helena Jurjević and Ante Furlić took third place in the 9-10-year-old category, while Nikol Matijević and Vid Bektić took third in the 11-12-year-old category.
The next Kids CRO Race will be held on 24 September in Labin, and the overall winners will be announced on 27 September in Zagreb at the final awards ceremony.
