CHILDREN’S RACE IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE CRO RACE
SINJ, October 1, 2024 – The second of six KIDS Cro Race competitions, a virtual cycling race for children aged 9 to 12, which is part of the CRO Race, was successfully held today in Sinj. The competition brought together girls and boys from local schools, who competed on virtual trainers.
The winners in the 9- to 10-year-old categories are Marta Petričević from Fra Pavle Vučković Elementary School and Marko Budinski from Ivan Lovrić Elementary School. Marta Blajić and Dinko Mandac from Fra Pavle Vučković Elementary School won in the 11- to 12-year-old categories.
The organizers expressed their satisfaction with the interest and level of enthusiasm shown by the children, noting that the main goal of the KIDS CRO Race is to encourage children to play sports in a fun way and to provide them with an unforgettable experience.
Thanks to partner Keindl Sport, all competitors are provided with bicycles and trainers this year, on which they will ride an interesting virtual track. Keindl Sport’s educators motivated children to learn how to properly ride a bicycle. Kids CRO Race is also supported by Kraš, BKOOL and Elite.
KIDS CRO Race continues its journey through Croatia, promoting recreation and healthy habits among children, so the next race will be held at the finish line of the third stage, October 3. in Novalja, and next in Opatija, Labin, Karlovac and Zagreb. The overall winners will be announced on October 6 in Zagreb at the finish-line award ceremony.
