The Town of Krk and the tourist boards of the island of Krk were among the first to support the tenth edition of the international cycling race CRO Race.
KRK, March 20., 2025. – The Town of Krk, the Tourist Board of the Town of Krk, and the island’s tourist boards were among the first to support the tenth anniversary edition of the international cycling race CRO Race, confirming their long-term cooperation with the organizers of this prestigious sporting event. In the Small Council Hall of the Town of Krk, cooperation agreements were ceremoniously signed, with the presence of Mayor Darijo Vasilić, Director of the Tourist Board of the Town of Krk Ivana Kovačić, Project Manager of the Kvarner Tourist Board Vlasta Mastrović, and representatives of the island’s tourist boards.
Alongside the Tourist Board of the Town of Krk and the Town of Krk, CRO Race was also supported by the Tourist Board of the Municipalities of Malinska-Dubašnica, Dobrinj, Omišalj, Punat, Baška, Vrbnik, the Tourist Board of the Island of Krk, and the Kvarner Tourist Board.

Ivana Kovačić, Director of the Tourist Board of the Town of Krk, emphasized the importance of expanding the offer for tourists on the island of Krk. “The importance of expanding outdoor activities and active vacation offers has become a priority on the island of Krk, so the role of the island and the Town of Krk as hosts of the fourth stage of the 10th international cycling race CRO Race is a perfect continuation of that development and an excellent opportunity for promotion!” said Kovačić.
Vlasta Mastrović, Project Manager of the Kvarner Tourist Board, emphasized: “The Kvarner region offers highly attractive tourist content and locations that visitors enjoy throughout the year, moreover, the international cycling race CRO Race further enhances our post-season offering. CRO Race 2025 will be held from September 30th until October 5th, and some of the world’s best cycling teams will take part in six exciting stages, including Bahrain Victorious, INEOS Grenadiers, Red Bull BORA – hansgrohe, Team Jayco Alula, and UAE Team Emirates XRG. Numerous well-known names from the world of cycling will once again compete on Croatian soil in an intense battle for the overall victory title.
